(no subject)

I just went to a nice salon and got a lot of hair chopped off. I think that the look is mostly cute (maybe one or two awkward angles, but overall not bad), but it'll take another day or so before I actually get used to it. It's shorter than I've ever had it before, which is actually saying something. I always forget that my hair is so poofy when it's short-short, since I have a lot of it.

Tomorrow, I'm going to the opera! La Cenerentola (Cinderella) by Rossini. I'm excited. Plus, two of the roomies are going as well. The only other opera performance I've attended was The Magic Flute, and that was pretty awesome - but it might be nice to see one that I'm not so familiar with.
